There are a ton of choices when it comes to nail strips. Have you tried the ones from AVON? They’re called Nail Art Design Strips and they typically cost $6.99 but right now they’re on sale even cheaper in my e-store. Most of their strips cover your full nail with a cute design, but the ones I’m showing you today are french tips. You can wear them on your tips like a french mani, or what I did was I placed them higher like a halfmoon mani.
As far as nail strips go, these are somewhat middle of the road in regards to pliability. They’re not very stiff, but they’re not super thin and soft either. They are indeed decals (they’re not made of real nail polish) and I found them easy to apply. They give you 18 in the pack and they don’t dry out once you open them. The instructions say basecoat is optional, but they do recommend a topcoat to seal them. I did a basecoat and a topcoat and I got a few wrinkles here and there but they’re not too noticeable. I’m on day three right now and they’re holding up pretty well. The tips haven’t peeled back and they’re still nice and secure on day 3. Which is great since I’ve been running all over doing Christmas stuff and my festive nails are still looking good.
